The Norcross Transportation Co. steamer Rainbow taking on passengers bound for various destinations which might include the head of Pemadumcook Lake, or the mouth of Jo Mary Stream as well as the head of Ambajejus Lake and various sporting camps located in the West Branch region. Note the railroad track on the wharf, used to supply coal to a storage bunker for the steamers.
